1973-1975   Worked as a Group Artistic Director in the Electronic Music Experimental Studio. This work was on experimental research on actors' and audiences’ psycological reactions in conditions of mobile audio and visually figurative environments. He took part in the filming of such films as Every Day of Doctor Kalinnikova’, This Very Victory Day’ and The Moment of Truth’, etc.
1975-1978   Worked as a consultant on stage movement in the All-Russian Theatre Society in Moscow. Took part in staging in most theatres of the Former Russian Republics.
1978-1984   Worked in the Mayakovsky Academic Theatre.
1984-2001   Worked on staging and art-directing in many Russian theatres. Was an author of such projects as: Harmonic Person’, University of Children’s Craftsmanship’, Second Birth Centre’, Psychoplastique Theatre’. Was the Art-Director of seven mime plays and twelve educative video-films.
1975-2001   Studied these martial arts simultaneously: Karate, Tai Chi Quan and Wing Chun. At the present moment I am a Director of the Zheleznaya Fleyta’ Wing Chun Club. The Club’s target is sports-culture and the healthy’ development of people. The organisation of children’s and youth’s craftsmanship clubs for education and harmonic development of the younger generation meets the need for physical and moral development in this younger generation (as well as the adult population) through the organisation of theatre and art groups. All of this is approved by the memorandum of the autonomous non-commercial organisation of the Zheleznaya Fleyta’ Wing Chun club.
2000   Obtained Licence to operate the Zheleznaya Fleyta’ Wing Chun Club.
2001   Special Wushu training program (Yun Chun Quan style) approved by Moscow’s Committee for Education and the Russian Wushu Federation.
2002   V.V. Martynov becomes idea-inspirer and establisher of the ALL-RUSSIA YUN CHUN QUAN (WING CHUN) FEDERATION.
2002   The Board of Directors of the ALL-RUSSIA YUN CHUN QUAN (WING CHUN) FEDERATION appoints V.V. Martynov as President of their FEDERATION.

According to the Yun Chun Quan Masters-Qualification Inspection/Regulation Committee (Foshan Chin Woo Athletic Association and Wing Chun Quan Research Centre):

We are satisfied that, in his level of training to become Master for Teaching Yun Chun Quan (in Russia and abroad), V.V. Martynov complies with all of our requirements.
